November 2010

This month was a little on the slow side- we took a trip to Savannah and went to the site of Extreme Makeover Home Edition in Savannah. It was fun to watch the men work. We played with Grandpa and Bubbe and got to see them and hang out.

Gammy and Papa also came to Charleston to celebrate Thanksgiving. Instead of cooking dinner, we decided to take a trip to Middleton Plantation. It was a lot of fun, we saw the animals and walked around the grounds and then ate a very yummy dinner. There was something for everyone. While Gammy and Papa were here, we also went to the Festival of Lights at James Island Park and then on a Harbor Tour. Gammy and Papa had a very nice visit and it was great to see them.

I am still getting so big, I am learning new things everyday and talking up a storm, if only I could string a few more words together we would be good. Oh well, it will all come in good time.

Halloween 2010

So, we started off for Halloween, trying to be a Monkey, but as you can tell from the pictures, that did not go over very well. As soon as Mommy put the costume on me, I kept screaming "Off, Off." Therefore, that did not stay on for very long. We had to come up with a back up plan. Thus, the cowboy costume. Thanks to my friend Daniel- I had a great hat and after much bribing for candy, I managed to keep it on for all pictures and all Trick or Treating. I had a ball getting candy and by the end of the evening I did great telling everyone, "Treat" and "Thank You"

I was a little intimidated by all of Jared's friends at our Halloween party, but I survived and soon realized they were all just in costumes. Enjoy, all my pictures! I hope everyone had a great time going Trick or Treating.

Fall Pictures

Fall is coming... let's watch soccer, play outside and enjoy the nice weather, play in the rain, and check out the pumpkin patch. I went to the Pumpkin patch at Legare farms with Mommy, Ms. Adina, Ari, and Daniel. Jared stayed home because he wasn't listening. At the Pumpkin Farm, we fed the cows. I was not too impressed with letting them eat from my hand, but I did throw the food over the edge and then tell the cows to "EAT." I am not sure they listened to my instructions.

I am getting so big now, I have a very large vocabulary, yet no two words go together yet. I can get my needs across by using one word and letting everyone else guess what I am trying to say. I am also very good at leading people towards what I want. Enjoy all my pictures.

Happy 2nd Birthday to Me

I'm turning 2, let's party. For my birthday party, Bubbe and Grandpa were here because they stayed and spent the day with me and Jared while Mommy and Daddy went to the UGA vs USC game. Mommy invited some of my friends over to play: Turner, Taylor, Davis, and Daniel. Of course, Eliana and Ari also came with Daniel. We played with my toys, went outside and played on the swingset and some of us even played in the water.

When it came time for my cake (Mommy had bought cupcakes) I was not very impressed at all. I sat and looked at the candle, I did not blow it out and I had no interest in eating my cake whatsoever. Oh Well, Mommy brought fruit to school the next day for my birthday and I enjoyed that a lot better.

It is amazing to think this 4lb 11 oz (or so) little boy has grown so much. At my 2 year old appointment I weighed 25 lbs, was 33 inches tall and doing great. I am starting to talk, still only saying one word things, but I get my point across and I understand everything that is said to me. I blossom everyday and grow with each and every moment. It is amazing to see how much things change on a daily basis. Keep looking here to see my updates.
